The Parish Centre is closed
Since it opened in 2003 the Parish Centre has become a hive of activity with something going on every day. Whitehall Active Retirement Association and Queen of Hearts Bridge Club are just two of the groups whose origins have started with the Centre. The weekly schedule of activities has something for everyone.
Whitehall Active Retirement Association or (W.A.R.A.) organise bowls on Mondays and Thursdays, a Book Club which meets once a month, a coffee morning once a month and regular outings to various places.
Not To Be Missed!
They hold yearly summer and Christmas parties

Mondays we have Baby Yoga, Infant Massage and the Monday Club, Tuesdays is Yoga and WARA Whist Club. Wednesday we have Crochet,
Bowls, Divine Mercy Prayer Group & evening Crochet Thursday we have Siel Bleu Ireland, WARA Bowls, Bethany Club and Comhrá le Micheál
Friday is the Queen of Hearts Bridge Club.
In addition to this we also hire out rooms for various functions, private parties, workshops etc. The feedback we have received, over the years, from people who hire the Centre has been the height of praise for the Centre and its volunteers.
With the exception of FÁS workers, the Centre is run by volunteers without whose help it would be difficult to maintain day-to-day activities.

Another great facility at the Centre is the Coffee Shop. From Monday to Sunday (excluding Saturday) you can meet and chat with your friends over a lovely cup of coffee and fresh scones.
Our main sources of fundraising (which are very well supported) are the Parish Centre Lotto, Easter Raffle, Strawberry and Christmas Fayres. We also raise funds by selling second-hand books in the Centre.
